<description>Rudolf: In the practice mode, NoteCard does show you the names of the notes you press, whether on a MIDI keyboard or one of the other &quot;instruments&quot;. This is appropriate for when you are learning the names of the new notes at a particular level. During a quiz, however, is not a time for memorizing material you haven&#039;t mastered. Instead, it is a time to practise recalling what you already know, until you can do so without effort.

I take it that you are suggesting that the actual names of the notes should be shown in quiz mode just after you make your own guess. In reality, however, this would be counterproductive. When reading music, one must never dwell on the note already played, but on the current note and those to follow. Directing your attention to the previous note instead of the current one would inculcate exactly the wrong habit.

<description>Nice program, but it will be nicer that when I practise with a MIDI keyboard and I hit a note in the game the note &lt;em&gt;name&lt;/em&gt; also will display on the screen!
